Understand the job
Job families
Related work grouped together.
What does it mean?
A job family groups roles that share a type of work, such as finance, technology or operations. Employers may define families differently from BLS occupation groups.
Why does it matter?
Related roles can share knowledge or skills even when their titles differ.
How can it affect my pay or career?
A family can help you explore moves that use your experience. A related title alone does not establish qualifications or equal pay.
